Lady Antebellum recently delivered a heart-warming rendition of Kenny Rogers' hit duet with Dolly Parton, "Islands in the Stream." The country music group sang the classic tune as a part of CMT's "Giants Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares," which is an initiative for coronavirus relief.
The popular country singing group, Lady Antebellum, recently rose above the constraints of the isolation to give a top-notch performance in honor of late country musician Kenny Rogers.

Although all the Lady Antebellum members were not together at the same time, the band beautifully sang the classic Rogers' hit duet with Dolly Parton, "Island in the Streams," via virtual presence.
"That was one of the first songs that we sang together, and then we ended up doing it live, gosh probably a hundred times at this point."

A video clip of the group's cover performance was shared on YouTube by the brand responsible for the Fundraiser initiative in honor of Kenny Rogers.
The program is called CMT Giants' "Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares," and it's meant for raising funds to provide relief to music creators affected by COVID-19.
The tribute to Kenny Rogers, who passed away last month, is said to feature virtual performances from a host of music stars and interviews with friends and colleagues of the music giant.
Other than Lady Antebellum, some stars who have been mentioned to make appearances in the initiative include Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Michael McDonald, and Randy Houser.
The special is also promised to contain rare archival photos, with clips and commentary from the late country singer himself.
Fans of Rogers will be given the opportunity to make donations to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, which has been set up to financially assist music professionals who have been affected by the virus.

The chairperson of MusiCares, Steve Boom, announced that the organization gave their heart-felt gratitude to CMT, the organization responsible for the broadcast of the tribute, and the Kenny Rogers estate for their support in these critical times.
Boom also paid his tribute to the late country musician, and he hopes that Kenny's philanthropic legacy continues.
